1908 German One Hundred Marks Reichsbanknote
This is a large note, 6 1/4" x 4" in size. It's not hard to immediately spot a number of striking features.
The two green seals of the "Reichsbankdirektorium" set off a nice contrast against the light blue background.
The heavy cursive embellishment on the first letter of each word is very eye-catching as well. The typography alone makes this banknote special.
The other side of the note is equally interesting, with three women depicted on a blue background. The engraving of the hair is very detailed and the overall picture is impressive.
On the left side of the note at the bottom is a warrior's helmet and a hammer, and on the right side is an ear of corn, grapes, and other fruit.
